How Direct Logic collects, uses, and protects personal information through this website and our business operations.
Last updated: 23 April 2026
Who we are
Direct Logic (ABN 69 794 521 020) is an Australian company based in Canning Vale, Perth, Western Australia. We design and build AI-native platforms and operational SaaS products. In this policy, "Direct Logic", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the company, and "you" refers to any visitor, prospect, or customer interacting with this website or our services.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through directlogic.io, how we handle it, and the rights you have. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies because you are located in the EU or UK, we also treat your information in line with those standards.
Information we collect
Information you give us through the contact form on this website: your name, email address, company name (optional), area of interest, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically when you visit: standard server and hosting logs such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. These are used to keep the site secure and operational, not to profile you.
Privacy-friendly analytics: we use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (for example, which pages are most visited and what country visitors come from). Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across websites. You can read their data policy at plausible.io/data-policy.
We do not run advertising trackers, cross-site marketing pixels, or behavioural retargeting on this site.
How we use your information
To respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form or by email.
To discuss potential engagements, demos, or partnerships, and to send follow-up communication related to the request you made.
To operate, secure, and improve our website and infrastructure.
To comply with our legal obligations, including record-keeping, tax, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry content to train general-purpose AI models.
AI systems and third-party processors
Direct Logic builds agentic and AI-driven software. Where our own products process personal information for customers, the terms of that processing are set out in the agreement signed with that customer, not in this website policy.
For this marketing website and for our internal operations, we rely on a small set of reputable service providers, which may include: website and email hosting, a contact-form mail relay, developer tools, and productivity software. These providers act as our processors and are only authorised to handle information on our instructions.
Some of these providers, including any AI or large language model tooling we use internally, may process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information consistently with the APPs.
How we store and protect your information
We hold personal information in access-controlled systems operated by us or our service providers. We apply reasonable technical and organisational controls, including access restriction, encryption in transit, and regular review of who can access what.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is useful for the conversation you initiated and for a reasonable period after, so we can follow up or maintain business records. When it is no longer needed, and we are not required by law to keep it, we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent for future contact at any time.
If GDPR applies to you, you additionally have rights to data portability, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To make any of these requests, email info@directlogic.io. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before acting.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking cookies. The analytics tool we use, Plausible, is cookieless by design. If we introduce any new cookies in the future, we will describe them here and obtain consent where required.
Children
This website and our services are intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our products and practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
